Neil Vrooman, recently promoted to Senior Operations Manager for the online division of the Test Delivery Service (TDS) department at Kryterion, has built a career rooted in service, leadership, and continuous growth.
TDS serves as the backbone of Kryterion’s customer service and support operations, with team members dedicated to proctoring exams and assisting candidates through both technical support and customer service.
Before stepping into his current role, Neil was the Manager of Operations in the U.S. for online proctoring within TDS. His career began in contact centers as a phone-based support agent, where he developed a strong foundation in customer support and leadership. In his transition to Kryterion, he was hired as an Operations Manager and, through mentorship, further honed his leadership skills. With continued guidance and professional growth, he advanced to his current position as Senior Operations Manager.
Driving Impact Through Innovation
During his time at Kryterion, Neil has contributed to several significant projects, one of the most notable being the development of the Kryterion Solutions Team. This specialized team was established to handle some of the most complex and high-level support functions, including back-office operations, branded support for Kryterion’s largest clients, and internal support services.
By forming this team, Neil and his colleagues have enhanced customer service capabilities, ensuring that the most challenging cases are handled by highly skilled team members. This initiative has significantly improved operational efficiency and strengthened Kryterion’s ability to provide top-tier service to clients and candidates alike.

Neil is particularly excited about the ongoing implementation of Kryterion’s new CRM system, which will revolutionize support operations. Outside of work, Neil enjoys spending time outdoors and cherishing moments with his wife and two sons. Together, they love building LEGO sets and playing video games.
He also has a beloved dog named Mya, an incredibly sweet and friendly companion who loves being around people.
One of his dreams is to visit Italy and the Netherlands, two destinations he finds breathtaking and hopes to explore someday.
When it comes to entertainment, Neil recently watched Star Wars: Skeleton Crew with his sons and highly recommends it as a great family-friendly show.

Neil has always wanted to learn to play the guitar and paint miniatures, both of which he sees as creative and rewarding hobbies.
